Jörgen Bruhn - Glimpses Beyond The Horizon
Product Information
This book is all about Near Death Experiences. The author describes them and illustrates interpretations from differing perspectives. What have modern physics and medicine to say about this? How do philosophy and theology view these phenomena? What practical consequences do these insights provide in our personal lives? For whom can such experiences be helpful? How does one educate children about these "glimpses beyond the horizon"? The author covers a vast range: Working with groups of people of differing age groups and educational levels, even those with physical and mental disabilities, is addressed. Everyone - parents and pedagogues, physicians and nursing staff, the healthy and the sick, as well as the bereaved - can benefit from this book, also even in their everyday lives, by reviewing these borderline situations. The number of those people who have had such experiences is growing and will continue to grow, but most of them are keeping silent. Why is this? And how long will this vitally important topic continue to be taboo?
