Every Monday morning. Every Friday afternoon. Endless WhatsApps asking ‘did you pay?’
Excel sheets that never balance. Drivers behind by weeks before you notice.
By the time you realise a driver hasn’t paid in a month, the bike is gone.
Your driver gets a friendly Friday message, taps once, and pays securely by card. ScootBooks splits the payment automatically — the R25 platform fee comes off the top, and the net (R775 on an R800 weekly) lands in your bank account the same day.
Drivers pay weekly with one WhatsApp tap. The money goes straight to your bank account, split automatically — minus our R25 fee.
Every scooter, every driver, every payment — visible on one calm dashboard. Know exactly where you stand before your morning coffee.
Reminders sent on time. Arrears chased automatically. Confirmations sent the moment money lands. You stop being WhatsApp customer support.
From your morning dashboard to month-end reports, here's a quick tour of what you get the moment you sign in.
Your morning snapshot — revenue, arrears and fleet, all in one calm view.

When drivers take their bikes in for service, you get a clear record. When the workshop sends their monthly invoice, ScootBooks matches it line by line — so you only pay for work that actually happened.
See every service done on every bike since you bought it. Useful for warranty claims, resale value, and spotting bikes that are costing you too much.
Upload the service centre’s monthly invoice. ScootBooks reads it, matches each line to a scooter, and flags anything that doesn’t match your records — before you pay.
Find out which bikes are draining your maintenance budget, which workshops are quietly overcharging, and where your fleet costs are heading.
Built around how your service centres already work. No bookings, no driver chasing. Just clear records and confidence at month-end.
Upload your fleet, your drivers, and your contract terms. Takes an hour for a fleet of 50.
Each driver gets a friendly WhatsApp message. They save their card once. That’s the only setup they need.
Every Friday, drivers tap to pay. You see every transaction in real time. We handle the chasing when things go wrong.
“I used to spend Sunday nights doing my books. Now I just open ScootBooks and everything’s already done.”

There are two fees on every transaction. The first is a card processing fee — what it costs to safely move money from a driver's card into your bank account. This goes to Paystack, the licensed payment company that handles the actual card transactions for us. It's the same kind of fee any South African business pays to accept card payments. The second is our ScootBooks software fee for managing your fleet, sending WhatsApps, and reconciling everything.
